How to do a complete moving list
Moving is not easy especially if you did not prepare for it. And one of the best ways to prepare for your move is to do a moving list. Still, an incomplete moving list defeats the purpose of having one. If the moving list is incomplete, you might forget the most important things and so what is the use of having a list in the first place? So here are some tips on how to create a complete moving list. First if possible you should do your list as early as possible. The moment you know that you will definitely be moving, start creating your moving list. Why? Because you will see that you will be having quite a lot to do when it comes to the move, facing the work early will make it a lot easier for you to do. Second, when you make your moving list start by dividing the task on the time you have left until the move. So if you have six weeks, for example, divide your task into six. Now, since you have six weeks left until the move and have divided the task based on these six weeks, start listing down the task according to the most important to the least important. The idea behind this is that by listing down the most important first, you will be able to accomplish the most important things. If you fail to do the other tasks these would be the least important ones. Third, having divided the moving list on a per week basis and having prioritized everything. What you should do now is to go over your list and check if you have made a proper prioritization of your task. Do not think this is a waste of time but most of the people actually forget a lot of things when they first did their moving list. Checking it and revising it is the surest way to complete the list. For example, many people who are moving to another state forget about the importance of having new motor vehicle insurance. They will then find out that they cannot drive to their new work because they forgot to take care of their insurance. Lastly, if you do not have a lot of time, you can make it a lot easy for you by dividing the tasks by days instead of week and list only the most important things. This way you will get to accomplish the most important ones and will not be distracted by other things about the move that are not as important.
